The port was really clean and well maintained. It looked quite similar to Mahogany Bay's port with the nice plaza of stores right of the pier. We wanted to just walk around the port and not do an excursion, just to be safe. Lots of free wifi locations if you wanted to check your email and such.

Nice port area. Not really a lot to do in terms of a city. We hung out at the swim up bar which was fun and nice. The food was good as well. Other then that we just walked around the port area.

We did the all inclusive beach excursion and it was worth every penny. Open bar, beach chairs n umbrella, paddle board, snorkeling, beautiful sandy beach and fabulous lunch!! Only downside is that it is a little far from the port but would definitely do it again.

Well our first excursion was cancelled so we were highly disappointed. Then we finally booked another and when we thought it was a City Tour it was an off the beaten path tour of what I feel like was the worst part of the city. It was not what we expected. We actually waited a hour for the excursion to come because Carnival overbooked and the company had to call someone in. Now I will say that it was made up to us and Carnival went above and beyond to make us feel better. I feel like Amber Cove was a bit messy and not so smooth.

We had a pool side cabana. It was a nice getaway from the heat. It also included wristbands for the zipline which was fun. The shops were your typical port shops.
