Didn’t enjoy this stop really nothing where you get off tender. Next time would do excursion to beach because we saw pictures others had and looked beautiful and sounded fun.

Very warm weather, lots of island poverty; but great views and history. Encouraging effort to improve economy through tourism.

Chairs at the beach are very uncomfortable and need padding. Other than that, nice beach with great staff.

Trujillo is a new destination on the mainland of Honduras. But give it a few years and it will become one of the best destinations in the Caribbean. They are presently building a pier to eliminate the tendering. That will make the port more assessible for handicap people. However, the port was new, the restrooms were neat and clean and the vendors were some of the best artisans I have ever seen. We're looking forward to visiting Trujillo again in the very near future. It is an up-and-coming destination.

Take a local tour with HAL..get a close up look at a developing area, too bad it will someday be spoiled by the normal cruiseline mentality of huge jewelry stores, etc. Hopefully not and the goods for sale will continue to be made right in Honduras or neighboring countries instead of China..saw none of that..YET.

What a dump. Why would any cruise ship stop here? Must have been free. Then the old tender- why do this HAL??
