Ocho Rios, Jamaica Port Reviews

This was our last favorite. The people there are very pushy and annoying, constantly begging you to buy something or use there services or sell you marijuana. We wanted to walk around for a bit and shop a little and then go to the beach. The shopping wasn't fun because they kept bothering us. We then went to Margaritaville which we've done in other parts and really loved. This one was ok, kind of small beach area and not all that clean.

We did the Aerial Chairlift, Bobsled, Ragamuffin and climbed Dunns River Falls.

You can not come to Ohio Rios without climbing the falls!!! Dunns River Falls is truly amazing! My grandkids glad the time of their life. They told their mother this was their favorite port . The tour driver was comical . We had a awesome time.

Ocho Rios is Beautiful. We did the bobsled adventure...it took 3 hours to get through the line for the bobsled (a 3 minute ride). If it wasnt for that I would rate it much higher. Will do something different next time.

Pretty good port to stop at. There was a lot of pan handlers right outside the port gates. We did the river float excursion. Awesome staff and guides. Easy day on the river with great people.

We did the big 3. It was nice. Beautiful scenery all around. I would probably pick to just do the zip line again if I had top drop it all over. We did the Bobsled first which was nice because we didn't have to go all the way down to go back up for the zipline. The wait however was long and we were one of the first 25 maybe in line. Each ride takes about 5min so we were in line for about 1hour. Then we ate at the restaurant and it was very nice. Next we waited for the zipline. At least the was a place to sit because you do have to wait a while. You do go in large groups which sucked but the zip line itself was great and the staff were hysterical they made it that much more enjoyable. It does very hot though with all the great and exciting so bring water.

I was Leary about Oocho Rios due to the negatives I’ve read.... I was pleasantly surprised. Ocho Rios is beautiful and I never felt uncomfortable there at all. We hired a private driver who drove us to Blue Hole, to river tubing, to Scotchies, & to do some shopping. The area is beautiful, lush, & full of vegetation. The people we encountered were welcoming and not pushy. Please give this place a chance- I can’t wait to return!

We did the River Tubing Excursion. Easy to navigate and we had to guides. TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT.

Loved the falls and bamboo beach but food included again. You have to like what they are giving you. She also was slow on drinks. We were all so dehydrated.
