We tried to do some shopping at this port, but the merchants were very aggressive . . . to the point that we started to feel scared for our safety. No one attacked us or anything of that nature, but it was an uncomfortable experience.

We did an excursion and tour guide was very friendly and ensured everything went smoothly. Did not like the pressure from the locals to sell anything, very pushing individuals.

Didn't enjoy the hawking from the vendors outside the gates. They were relentless but the prices could be bargained down.

Not much there to see and people are constantly trying to sell the same junk at every corner.

The gated shopping area was a waste of time - uninteresting - most shops featured poor-to-average quality jewelry. Open air market was much better - free-style and culture represented - which is the purpose of the trip.
