Beautiful! Friendly people, however, you WILL get accosted by no less than 30 people trying to sell you taxi rides, hair braiding, or weed. They are persistent and will follow you as you walk down the road. That being said, they were not rude, just trying to make a living. KFC is worth the ten minute walk for a twist on what you get in the States. The sidewalks are not terribly wheelchair friendly and we saw a few folks get frustrated and just scoot or wheel themselves into traffic just to get across the road to the shops from the pier. Overall, good stop.

Did the Rive Tubing excursion and had an excellent time! Moni and the other crew treated us like family and really took care of us. Even though we were with a sizeable group, it felt intimate and one on one. I definitely recommend if you want a relaxing day with a little bit of thrill. If I ever do back to Jamaica 🇯🇲 I most definitely will do this again!!!!

This was a great port. I really enjoyed myself. I took a short taxi ride over to Dunn River Falls. My son and I climbed the falls. It was definitely a work out. Afterward we went for a short swim on the beach at the falls. We took the same taxi back to the port and enjoyed a jerk chicken lunch before heading back to the ship. It was a great day.

Dunns river falls were gorgeous. That was the high point. The locals are very aggressive. We were told we had to get off the excursion bus and go to certain stores. The vendors will grab your hand to put there goods into it. They will also step right in front of you and try to block your path. What we saw of Ocho Rios was vey dirty and poverty riddled. If we ever go back we will not get of the ship.

ATV excursion was the best. My new friend Courtney was the best guide. I could not get that ATV, but he stayed with me. Took me another way where he picked bananas. The food after the excursion was worth the 14.00. Loved it.

We did the Bobsled and Dunns Falls tour through NCL. I was not impressed with the tour (I know they are not employed by NCL) We were told to meet for the tour at a certain time on the pier so we hurried to get off the ship.(started to disembark at 10am and was told to be there at 10:15 so we rushed) Got to meeting place then were told to go away and not come back for 30min. Then bus driver hated his job and complained the entire time to the excursion. After excursion we luckily caught the last bus back to the ship. We were never told that the last bus ran at 3:30p. (Didn't have to be back on ship until 6pm)We really lucked out. I know others from the ship were still there after the last bus because they didnt know of the bus schedule either. Bobsledding was fun. Venders were not. They didn't get my money. Way too rude and pushy. Felt like the excursion was total chaos and very poorly communicated as far as the details. Bus ride back is an important detail, I think. Jamacia gave me a poor first impression, unfortunately. I probably won't return to Ochis Rios again but will visit a different area of the island next time to give it a second chance to win my heart.
