We went to the market via a taxi, This gentleman was very informative and dropped us off at the market and picked us up 3 hours later as promised. The Emeralds were over priced. The vendors in the craft market were very mostly rude , grabbing at us trying to pull us away from other vendors. Alot of " Give me money" yelled at us.

Absolutely terrible. Dirty and the Jamaicans we encountered were very pushy.

This is a tourist village with some tours of the local area. There are hands out everywhere for the tourists to put money into. I was annoyed that people were begging for tips and handouts everywhere I went. There was one man who actually tracked me down on the tour bus because i had not tipped him.
