Overall impression of this port? “Primitive”...we had the zip line excursion...but the amenities along the way were very ...sad. Example: in the restrooms there was a little lady whose job was to flush toilets after each use by carrying water in a bucket... toilets would not flush otherwise.

Loved everything about Jamaica EXCEPT where we docked the ship. Had to take expensive cab to shop. Nothing at all where we docked. Wasn't impressed... would have rather tendered somr where else and had more available. We did ride and swim with horses. The head guy at the location wasn't very nice. He lined everyone up and made them look front as he slowly selected one person at a time to a horse. It was a bit unsettling. Felt like a firing squad! Wasted lots of the time we could have been riding. And of course they ALL wanted tips on top of the ridiculous price the excursion already cost.

The weather did not cooperate this time so you cannot blame the ship for mother nature. unfortunately jamaica is such a poor and depressed economy that it shows. The real issue there is that the demand for tips for everything you do there is really annoying.
