Review summary

We had an amazing vacation in this cruise! From the start of our morning till we crashed at the end of the day, we were able to be as active or as lazy as we wanted to be! Breakfast was really good: I can’t make fruit and omelets everyday at home! Lunch time usually found us on the Lido deck... we always found the best of variety available from appetizers to desserts! Our most memorable meal, of course, was dining proper for the evening meal. The formal night was fun... maybe one would have been plenty, though. Kevin and I enjoyed the casino more than we thought we would...we really had a relaxing (except for the physically challenging excursions!) mand nice cruise!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I would say we had a fairly easy experience on embarkation day. There were five in our group, my son and his wife are on a higher level than we are, but we all were able to get in, meet up and do so without much hassle considering the hundreds of people trying to get the same place that we were!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is always the best! Whether we were on Lido deck having a casual brunch or having the evening dining experience, we enjoyed ourselves throughout our cruise.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the pools, being able to get some sun...Kevin had a big time blast on the sky ride! I had a pleasurable visit to the spa for my birthday as a gift from my son a daughter-in-law!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We absolutely want to rave on our servers during our evening meal! Anyelo and Levender were the best! Every meal we were made to feel so special and our food was always exceptionally perfect! They deserve huge kudos!!! Our stewardess was so sweet! Selicia (I don’t have her card with me so I know I butchered her name). But she was really nice and funny... and our room was always perfect!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We thought places were easy enough to find... for as large as this ship was!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were pleased with the size of room and really impressed with the balcony! Our last cruise was an inside cabin... totally better having balcony!

Ship tip

Don’t wait till the last minute to be where you need to be and then interrupt others because you do not know what’s going on!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5

Montego Bay, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Overall impression of this port? “Primitive”...we had the zip line excursion...but the amenities along the way were very ...sad. Example: in the restrooms there was a little lady whose job was to flush toilets after each use by carrying water in a bucket... toilets would not flush otherwise.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the stingray swim and the turtle farm.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Wish for more time at this stop. Much too much to do in 8 hours!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We had no problem getting off!

Once you've experienced a balcony you'll never want to go back. We're going on the ship in November and we can't wait!
