We had to pay $15 per person for the wristband to take us shopping. That gets pricey when 6 people are traveling but there is nothing to do unless you have transportation.

Beautiful beaches, but the environment is a little scary. The people there were not the most trustworthy (although they are very entertaining) and made for an uncomfortable visit at times.

We traveled to Dunn water falls and it was a long bus rided. The falls were good and they treated us to great local quezene, just didn't leave much time to shop.

Jamaica is not a nice port, Ocho Rios or Montego Bay. The people are pushy and annoying.

We did the hop on/hop off tour at this port. Cheap and we got to see many different areas/places. Our favorite was Margaritaville. Spent quite some time swimming in the ocean there.

I don't recommend just going out and exploring. The locals seem to take advantage of tourists. Go on a tour or get a day pass to a hotel.
