Jamaica was really interesting....I honestly had no idea what to expect when we were there. We went to City Center and did some shopping though the shop keepers were very agressive at times we just learned to say "no" nicely but firmely. We took a cab to The Hip Strip and ate the The Jamaican Bobsled Cafe (just a short walk from Margarittaville, much less expensive and a lot less noisey if you ask me. Then we hoofed it a short walk to Doctor's Cave beach and had a wonderful time lounging and swimming (my huband loved the big floating trampolines!). I'm sure at some point we'll go back to Jamaica, but I'd love to visit maybe Ochos Rios next time :)

We got off the ship here but did not do an excursion. We visited a few small shops close to the port. The shops and port were ok. The only complaint we had were of the local people at the port hounding you for money for any little thing they offered, even after you told them "no thank you", some just kept following you and trying to talk you into it.

Jamaica is just too dangerous for a comfortable visit for me. We took an excursion to Dunn's Falls (beautiful and a climbing experience not to be missed) our excursion included a jamaican lunch at Margaritaville in Ocho Rios. FOOD WAS SERVED BUFFET STYLE AND WAS HORRIBLE.
