The excursion that we went on through Carnival was to Secrets - Adult (all-inclusive) Resort. It was beautiful until the storm hit and didn't stop. We paid near $300 for the day and then the storm prevented us from enjoying the entire resort ~ we huddled under canopy/umbrellas trying to make the best of the situation and still consuming adult beverages but it really wasn't worth the expense. The jerk chicken was decent, considering the line we stood in while the rain poured on us. I don't think I lost anything in Jamaica that I need to re-visit and find. I'm sad over this too, I was so excited about Jamaica!! Just not what I expected :(

Not the best place, but I recommend booking an excursion so you can get off the boat.

Did the buggy jungle excursion. The ride in the jungle in the dune buggies was lots of fun, the guides were great. It was after rides were over that was not so good. We were so rushed! There was a small jerked chicken stand and we all went to order food and before any food got there they were wanting us to get back on the bus. We convinced them to wait and had to eat on the ride back. And the food wasn’t even very good. And the ride over from the ship nice and comfortable lots of room. Ride back, really crowded.

Jamaica was pretty, but the people that live there acted very distant and strange. I don't think I ever saw a smile in my direction. I did the Dunn's River Falls Express, which was fun in itself, but the travel too and from was awkward. It was just my fiancee and I alone in a van with our tour guide. He barely talked about Jamaica so most of the trip was silent.

I had a great time both times I've been but I'm not really into the brownie salesmen. It is not legal in Jamaica. If I buy a joint and commenced to smoke on the beach. The police come get me and "no problem mon" if you can pay the fine otherwise you are going to miss your boat. Aside from that I love montego.

Was not too impressed by this port. Taxi driver scared you by the way he drives. He drove us to the most expensive souvenirs...we should have done excursion.

This was a beautiful Port, fantastic shopping at the Rosehall Mall and great food at Margaritaville. Did the Hop On Hop Off and these two stops were great. Also stopped at the Craft Market and they were pretty pushy but it was obvious this was a very poor country and saw some very sad parts if town. The gentleman at the Port loading busses did a great job of preparing us for what to expect and tour bus driver Jones was hilarious and taught us a lot. But in all honesty , I doubt we return to Jamaica. Parts of town did not feel safe

Can you get a red stripe in the port of Mo bay? We have been to this port but this time we have no plans and just want to shop. Just wondering about the port

Never felt safe! We went to the beach and were offered dope countless times along with temporary companionship of a local,,,, ummmm, "lady". Spent $140 at Margaritaville for terrible service and mediocre food. On a positive note, the tour bus driver was great and pointed out some neat things on our way to the beach. Won't be going there again.

We did the ten best tour and it was fun. A bit rushed for sure. The shopping was expensive and the drinks at Margaritaville were extortion. 20 bucks for a foo foo drink In a 3rd world economy. It was safe and informative though.
