Ship is dated but not to bad. Food in main dining room needs to be better. Cabin was great. Service great every where on the ship. Loved the pizza and the deliver anywhere option. Chefs table was good. Steakhouse was great! We did it the first night and the last night. Do the steakhouse the first night and you get a free bottle of wine. Always love the soft serve ice cream. This was my fourth cruise, all with carnival. I want to do Alaska next, might try another line next time.

Main dining room food wasn’t very good. Just average. The specialty steak was fantastic. The sea day brunch were great.

Comedy shows some good. Some not so much. Mo-town show was good. Some of the acts in the bars re really enjoyed. Some could be better. But I liked that there were lots of choices.
Service and Staff

Our room steward Franie was fantastic! All the waiters as always on Carnival were top notch. Bar tenders were great and funny most of the time.
Ship Quality

Glory is hard to get around on. Lots of going up or down to get to points because you can’t get from one end of the ship to the other on some floors. It’s also kinda dated. Needs a refurbish. But a nice ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was always clean. Liked having to sofa and small table. First time with a balcony and loved it! Will definitely get a balcony again! Bed was comfortable. Lots of room on the balcony. Bathroom size was good.
Ship tip
Check out the secret decks all the way forward on decks 6 and 7. Especially at night. Great view and always empty of people.
Didn’t do an excursion. Got there a few days before our cruise. Explored on our own. Great food and service every where we went. Definitely go to the WWII museum.
Did the buggy jungle excursion. The ride in the jungle in the dune buggies was lots of fun, the guides were great. It was after rides were over that was not so good. We were so rushed! There was a small jerked chicken stand and we all went to order food and before any food got there they were wanting us to get back on the bus. We convinced them to wait and had to eat on the ride back. And the food wasn’t even very good. And the ride over from the ship nice and comfortable lots of room. Ride back, really crowded.
Our helicopter excursion was canceled because of heavy winds. So we went to the National museum. Nice little museum, learned about the Cayman Islands and it was very cheap to get in. Then we got a taxi to seven mile beach and hung out. What a great beach! Water was perfect, sand was white, soft and cool on your feet. Definitely go to the beach when there! After the beach we got a taxi to a restaurant and had some fantastic seafood by way of a Caribbean hotpot! The we caught the city bus back to the ship. Best city bus ride ever! It’s a small van that you just stand on the street with your arm up and it stops. $2.50 fare and was fun being on the bus with the locals. I think everyone knew each other. Would definitely go back to Grand Cayman!
Did the three reef snorkel. Was fun swimming in the ocean. Saw a fair amount of fish. Guides were good. Had cold hibiscus tea in between dives. That was nice. After snorkeling we were tired so we did a little souvenir shopping and back to the ship.
