This is NCL's own little private island. We opted for the Barrier Reef Snorkel tour which was the best snorkel tour we have every done. The ship docks right at the port and it was a short walk to access the boat for the snorkel trip. There are a few shops, a Landshark Bar & Grill along with a massive pool, huge beach (plenty of chairs), though the sand can be quite painful to walk on, so bring your flip flops. If you purchase food or drink while on HC, bring your own $ as your ship card will be of no use.

We had a very good time here ,shopping was small but the Pool is Big and Free . The drinks were small and expensive at the swim up. Best Deal is "Cat Five" a short walk away .They serve $20. very large frozen drinks in a souvenir cup with a unlimited $10. ea. Refill ,bring that to the pool.

Okay, this was the best stop on the whole cruise! I loved the boat ride through the mangroves, the guide was super informative and funny. He told us about stuff I wanted to hear about like the Mayan culture, plants, birds, etc. His name was Rafael Bul. He really was terrific. Although we didn't get to see any manatees we did see a playful dolphin.

We chose not to do an excursion. Disembarked the ship around 11am. Not sure why we didn't eat on the ship, but we ended up having a burger and a beer at Landsharks restaurant. Service was friendly and prompt. Food prices were what you'd pay on mainland US. See the vlogs by EECC Travels to check out their prices, but I believe entrees were $15-18/plate. We walked around the port, and ended up on beach chairs somewhat close to the tower where the zipliners would come out from. We were approached once by one the staff to see if we wanted a beverage or food. Pre-paid drink packages do not work here, folks! Be ready to pay prices from mainland USA! The weather was overcast but warm, calm winds. The water was cold, like Northern California waters. The sand was very coarse, so I'm glad I followed the advice of previous cruisers who recommended you wear water shoes on the beach (I wore Keen Whisper Sandals, which I got a great deal from Amazon). We spent two hours laying on the beach, reading our e-books. As we headed back, the wind picked up, and the clouds amassed. Well, 15 minutes after boarding the ship, it started raining hard. Would still love to come back here, as we did not browse the shops at all, or the animal enclosure.

Dissapointed, no place to get a chair or umbrella, would have paid if it was available, food and drinks over priced. For a man made beach it was nothing like Labadee, Hati which is the private island that we visited on RCL, we were suite guest and it was a First Class experience. Took the boat to another area that was a part of the ships packages and it was a 3 hour excursion which took 20 minutes to get there, which left you with only 2 hours and 20 minutes and it cost us $25.00 per person, so another waste of money. This was a terrible port, will not get off boat if we go back.

Very pretty unfortunately down-poured the whole time there so didn’t really do to much just a little bit of shopping. Would like to go there again..

Absolutely beautiful visit. It was great.to not share the site with other cruise ships, the pool was large enough that it didn't feel like people were right on top of you. The drinks were pretty decent, a little overpriced but that's to be expected at places like this. There is access to the ocean, a swim up bar so you can enjoy your drinks in the pool, and even benches inside the pool along some of the walls to sit, relax and soak up the sunshine! Spend the extra money for this excursion on the cabanas, I'm not a person who particularly enjoys laying around, but this was the perfect location to relax and unwind!
