It was a great cruise overall and there was never a dull moment. We made memories that will last a lifetime.
Embarkation

The terminal was a little slow at the counter. Otherwise everything was smooth and easy. I especially liked that you get your sea pass at the terminal. This allows you to utilize it on board right away.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The buffet was higher food quality than that of Royal Caribbean. With the exception of Teppanyaki, the specialty dining left me wanting. The biggest complaint I have was the time it took for the dinner service in the specialty dining. The norm seemed to be ab out 2+ hours.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The fitness center had a lot of equipment and was well maintained. However, the temperature was not controlled well so it was extremely hot a humid making it an undesirable place to be. The ropes course was awesome and far exceeded my expectations. There are several obstacle that take you over the edge of the ship to get your heart racing. Also the night clubs were great. On the larger Oasis class ships with Royal Caribbean the venues are enormous so it never has the same energy as the smaller venues found on the Escape.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Choir of Man is one of the best shows I have seen live (broadway or cruise)! It is an absolute must see. All the other shows were great too but this took the cake!
Service and Staff

They were all adequate. However, there was a lack of energy compared to previous cruises.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was the nicest cabin I have been in. The design and layout were great and the balcony was awesome.
Ship tip
Go to the district! The beer selection is quite good and the entertainment there is fun.
I gave it 3 stars because it is a corporate island and you couldn't use your dining or drink package on the island. I prefer to visit the country vs a corporate beach. Otherwise it was a really nice facility.
The port was nicely laid out and the while there were lots of shops you did not feel attacked by the merchants. We went to the Zipline and Water park which was down right amazing!
