There is not much at Falmouth. All excursions are in Ocho Rios which is about a 45 minute drive from the port. We selected a private tour to The Blue Hole and would highly recommend this excursion. Much less crowded than Dunn's River Falls and every bit as good, if not better.

When in Jamaica, you can contact Fitzroy Clarke (tour guide) to show you around the island. He was a great guide and made you feel like you were visiting a friend. Thank you Fitzroy. fitzroyclarke@facebook.com

Jamaica was great! We did Dunn Falls River - it was awesome and unique experience. We also did dolphin encounter... my daughter's favorite!

Nothing really to see. Just a lot of shops selling the same T-shirts and items.

Just got back from our cruise. We enjoyed Falmouth. The port area is nice. Yes, the locals bug you a little to buy stuff at their shops but just say no and keep going. It was nothing compared to other ports I’ve been to where I was bombarded by locals and couldn’t even walk around. We didn’t have an excursion booked but when we got off the boat we went to the stand that does trolley tours. We paid $25/person for an hour long trolley that had a couple stops. It was beyond worth it. It takes you beyond the “compound” so you can see the real Jamaica. We stopped at the oldest building in Falmouth and we stopped at the beach (the beach stop was for about 10 minutes, just for a few photos). Our guide was so sweet and funny and taught us a lot about the town. I wasn’t sure what to expect in Falmouth after reading a bunch of reviews, but never once did I feel unsafe. When we were on the trolley, we even saw folks from the cruise walking around downtown with no tour guide. There were a few streets we drove past that were a little sketchy, but they were way out past the port..and I don’t think any of the locals would go looking for trouble. It’s a beautiful port. We ate at Margaritaville, but the food wasn’t the best...just okay. Get out and experience the port and the culture if you stop at this port.

Did Dunn’s river falls and reggae hill tour with princess. Great tour. Had a great day. The water falls climb was a challenge but we made it and felt great about it afterwards. A must do 😃
