We took an excursion for shopping and then went to Doctor's Cove Beach. We would not recommend this because the shopping was limited to one store and then when we got to the beach where there were to be a few places to eat they were so crowded we would have spent most of our time waiting to be served (90 minute wait). We ended up having to leave the area where we were dropped off at and walk to another place to eat.

All day taxi is 150 plus. Dont walk down town too scary. I am big 6'2" 280 I wasn't brave enough. I had read others say the Same thing you wont understand until you see it for yourself. We took taxi to gully falls, known by locals as blue hole. Its 20 mins past the infamous falls. The falls in my opinion are stupid, you just walk around in the water and it's way overcrowded. The blue hole you jump from deep pool water to the next. Its breathtaking and its natural spring water so when your done you feel cleaner than you have ever felt. Our driver Jimmy Lee recorded everything and gave it to us for free, ya man!

Jamaica is a bit sketchy but beautiful! We used Royal for our excursion here as I was warned to that we you really need to be in a group for your safety if leave the port. We went to the Blue Hole with River Tubing and it didn't not disappoint. The drive to and from was a bit long but we knew about this at the time of booking.

Lots of shopping, and the port shopping area was clean and all the vendors were very nice and friendly. No one pressured us and no one was rude. Took a taxi to the Blue Beach. Beach was small and water was only about 3 feet deep. The waves break here several hundred yards from the beach so no body surfing, etc. none the less beach was nice and water was refreshing, Taxi driver was rude and kept pressuring for more money/tip.

We did a day pass at the Hilton Rose Hall through resort for a day. we had stayed at this resort before for a land vacation so we wanted to revisit. Beautiful resort with lazy river and water slides. Nice lunch.

We went to Rose Hall Plantation for a tour. It was very interesting since it is rumored to be haunted. My husband did capture some "faces" in a mirror. Zoom in and see what you think. Our driver also took us shopping and on a tour of some of the city. We learned a lot. The vendors can be very pushy, but a simple "no thank you" was all we needed to say.

Took a private tour company excursion to Montego Bay and Doctors Cave Swim Club. Great Beach beautiful teal green waters not any shade so will need to rent a umbrella and chair $8 each not to bad. after a few hours walked to Margerittaville for Lunch and slide down the 150ft. water slide into the Bay .. good times. Walking around we were approaced several times and offered to buy a little bit of everything but a simple no thank you and were left alone all and all a wonderful experience for a a small fee $28 each not including umbreall rentals and food.

The port is nice, our snorkeling excursion was canceled so we went to the "Big Blue Beach Escape". The tour guides were very nice, the beach is nice. It was not a "resort" it is just a beach with lounge chairs, drinks, food and music. The DJ played beach games. Just don't rent the snorkel equipment. I did and the mask and the snorkel both leaked.
