Review summary

Great cruise! The staff, shows, ship and excursions were outstanding. There was so much to do, or if you wanted there was plenty of space to just relax. The ship didn't seem crowded and at times there really was many people around. Will definitely cruise again!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation once parked was very fast and easy. Only complaint was the signage to get into the garage was not very clear. This was our first cruise and the sign at the garage entrance says "drop off" and "parking" and they kept directing us to "drop off" which is correct because it is to drop off the luggage but we thought it was for "dropping off passengers" and the guys directing traffic never explained that so it was confusing at first.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food in the specialty restaurants was outstanding. It is worth the extra money. The service in the main dining room was great, but the food was average. Dining in the Windjammer Cafe was busy, the food was average for buffet food. A lot of different options.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved Central Park at night. Beautiful setting for a before or after dinner drink.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All main stage entertainment was outstanding. Saw Oasis of Dreams in the Aqua Theater was fantastic.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service on Oasis of the Seas was great. From the room steward to the wait staff - all were fantastic.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the ships layout and all public areas were very clean. The only thing I could say that would make it better would be to have a retractable roof over the Boardwalk and Central Park so they can be used if it rains.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was nice size, there was more than enough storage. Having the balcony was worth the extra money.

Ship tip

There is so much to do on the ship, review the Cruise Compass the night before, highlight the activities that you are interested in and bring the list with you during the day so that you will remember what activities you would like to do.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Went on the Jet Ski excursion, SO MUCH FUN! The tour guide's were nice, they let the more experienced jet skiers go first, and they will move you around so that everyone will be able to go as fast as they want. They take you around the cruise ship and up the coast. Very pretty and very fun.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
The port is nice, our snorkeling excursion was canceled so we went to the "Big Blue Beach Escape". The tour guides were very nice, the beach is nice. It was not a "resort" it is just a beach with lounge chairs, drinks, food and music. The DJ played beach games. Just don't rent the snorkel equipment. I did and the mask and the snorkel both leaked.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Went on a Snorkeling excursion which included both a reef and a starfish sanctuary, Loved the reef, tons of fish and the water is amazing. The starfish sanctuary was also great. Did see lots of starfish but wished we would have spent more time at the reef.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We got off the boat early and carried our own luggage. The disembarkation went fast and if you are driving yourself it was a lot better than waiting till between 9-10 to be called once they have delivered your luggage to the cruise terminal. We were in the car and driving before 7:30.
