Review summary

Loved the ship and the ports and would love to go again. The ships had everything: casual dining, great fine dining, coffee shop, pub, several night club areas all with great entertainment. The dance shows was very well done with good choreography, great costumes and excellent dancers and singers. The ice show was awesome (saw it twice). Pool areas were clean and relaxing. Room was kept clean and was big enough. Formal dining area was elegant and quiet with grate service and food. No negatives.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Got there at 10:45, dropped off luggage, parked shuttled to ship, security check took 10 minutes, ticket verification took 15 minutes, waited for about 30 minutes to be called for boarding, on board 10 minutes after being called.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Entertainment was excellent: shows, musicians, dancers, ice skaters, lots to do! The ship is in excellent condition: shops, lobbies, venues, (except some seats in the ice rink need repair), Staff was friendly. Food was very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Kids loved the flow-rider. Also, climbed the rock wall several times. Slides were good for kids, but not enough water pressure for adults. Pools and hot tubs were clean and comfortable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice skating show was awesome. Evening shows were also very good.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My 17 year old had a great time meeting the teenagers and hanging out in the Living Room and other kids/game areas.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was always helpful and very friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the ship design and the entire ship was kept very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was great location with street view. Was large enough to comfortably hang out in. Was kept clean by the staff at all times. (Shower could have been a bit larger.)

Ship tip

Make sure you walk around and see everything. It is huge and amazing.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

just parked and boarded te ship

Cozumel, Mexico

Have been to Cozumel may times. The dolphin experience is amazing. Scuba diving is awesome. This time we took the ATV adventure (to Jade Caverns) and it was a blast. Sped down all types of trail from smooth and wide to narrow and rocky. Some dry-dusting trails and some swamp areas to drive through. One of the best excursions we have taken.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Small port area with quiet shops. Went scuba diving here and also did the sting ray city tour. Made life-time memories here.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Lots of shopping, and the port shopping area was clean and all the vendors were very nice and friendly. No one pressured us and no one was rude. Took a taxi to the Blue Beach. Beach was small and water was only about 3 feet deep. The waves break here several hundred yards from the beach so no body surfing, etc. none the less beach was nice and water was refreshing, Taxi driver was rude and kept pressuring for more money/tip.

Disembarkation

Waited for our group to be released at 10:00. Exit took 10 minutes to pick up our bags. Had to wait in shuttle line for 30-45 minutes.
