Very clean and the shops are all new. A lot of the usual shops but the people are not pushy. You have to be an employee or ship guest to get into the port area. This really keeps the riff-raff out. Enjoyed the Green Grotto cave tour. Our tour guide driver took us to several road side stops to share the history of Jamaica. Very cool.

been here before have no need to get off the ship. Everything is far away from this port although they have created a shopping area at the dock nothing else is close by. Dunn River Falls is CROWDED and overrated.

dunns river falls fun and scenic but worth three+ hours in a bus, probably not. Montego bay was just traffic and pot dealers. Would never go back to jamaica due to aggressive nature of vendors and people and seemingly lack of supervision over such. It seems anything goes for jamaicans when trying to scam you out of your money.

Excursion crew ( margaritaville snorkel and beach) were very bosy and tried to hard to make people have fun. Threatened to throw me over board if I didn’t dance. Wasn’t feeling good and didn’t want to dance. Also they were not going to let me go back to ship and not go to margaritaville in port. I got a little lotion sick on the catearan and wanted to relax not party.

VIP excursion at Falmouth was amazing! 4 course meals including festival bread, saltfish, breadfruit, lobster, cucumber salad. Drinks were not top shelf (local brands for rum and vodka) however, ok. Music and dancing on the beach, lovely. Booked through Royal.
