Review summary

We thought a newer, larger Carnival ship might provide better food and entertainment than the other Carnival Cruises we've been on. We were disappointed. The food was mediocre and the buffet was very limited in it's offerings and in it's hours. The entertainment was at the low end of professional.

In addition, there was NO adult pool and many areas were very smokey.

Must say the staff was excellent - helpful, cheerful, and very accommodating and the ship was clean and well kept.

In spite of all of this, we had a nice time and made the best of it so we enjoyed the cruise

Long ride to go to Dunns River Falls but well worth the trip. Climbing the falls was fun and beautiful.

It's only closed if the wind is extremely bad. We done the rope course while we were sailing a couple times.. They had the pool closed at one point because of the wind and the ropes were still open even then.

I have heard the rope course on the breeze is closed when the ship is moving. Is this correct?

Yes, they have an everyday list and a daily list that changes everyday on the menu.

I found a wide variety in the buffet area. You had to walk around and look as there were different types of food at different areas. Also had a kabob like place (didn't get a chance to try), pizza, Mexican, Guy's burgers, Mongoli grill, free pasta lunch at Italian restaurant, deli center, and lots of other stations. I found the food better than on the Sunshine.

There is an a Adult pool on the Breeze. I love the Breeze best ship in their fleet been on it 4 times and I'm back on in April

Was just wondering about talking using hub app because I was thinking about purchasing 2 way radios but if this would allow for communication of some sort then the radios May not be necessary. This last cruise I spent more time hunting for everybody than I did relaxing...lol. I never buy the media package and I use straight talk...never any hidden fees or fees I get by accident. Thank you so very much for the information! :)

Through the app you can only chat with others on the ship that have the app.. It's good to have of you are traveling with multiple people. You can use your phone onboard but the charges thru your carrier may be really high.. I always put mine on airplane mode.. Also for 25.00 you can buy a social media package.. messaging is how I keep up with home

It's only on a few select ships but I have used it on the Breeze so I know it's on there. It is an app that is free to use. You can keep track of all your spending, you can chat with others that also have the app onboard, and it has the fun times info on it. (Each day, it shows u what's going on every hour all over the ship) a schedule I guess I would say.. Very, very handy and useful

I think they should allow smoking on balconies again. I think it will cut down the smoke in the common area.

Leaving next week for our 7th carnival cruise 2nd time on Breeze, never a problem always great food and entertainment but then maybe we are just mediocre people!

I've been on several cruises and by far the breeze was my ultimate favorite.. Always something to do and the Carnival Hub app was sweet!

I've been on this ship twice I had no problem with the food. Entertainment was amazing and their is an adult only pool that like all the ships I've been was was always packed

There should be a serenity adult only location and only 18 and over is allowed.

I agree about the food. Otherwise the 2 shows we saw were fantastic. Staff was excellent. Also would have loved adults only pool.
