The sidewalks, stores and restaurants were packed with tourists. Each store seemed to have the same stuff as its neighbor.

There are some great excursions on this island, but if the seas are rough many of them can be canceled which leaves you with shopping in a high pressure crowded city enviroment. The Diamond Inter. sttore was amazing however.

Skip Cozumel and visit the Mayan Ruins in Tulum or visit Playa Del Carmen via ferry.

Diving in cozumel is a must. There are plenty of operators. The water is crystal clear and we could see very far away in every directions. It was awesome.

The ATV excursion was awesome! Other than that, Cozumel has an upbeat atmosphere and good shopping opportunities.

Three reefs snorkeling was fun since we had never been before, but there was not much to see.
