shop furthest from the boat, or when you get off a bus do not buy anything until you have priced all stalls. Green Bay backpack $35 near the bus, $20 on the beach, I asked why and the Vendor with $20 said he makes them and sells them to the vendor for $35. Be ready to say no to every one trying to sell you something. You would be better to give them cash for free.

Instead of paying big bucks for access to a beach club, rent a Jeep and explore the island (it's only 30 mi/45 km) for the full trip.

it was good. the bus we were on was nice and cool and clean. Need to make sure the drives know that there is more than one ship in dock so that the time back to the ship is enough time to do what you want.

We have been to Cozumel prior, and the vendors overall haven't changed much as far as trying to get you into their shops.
