We went to the Nachi Cocom from the cruise terminal! It was $17 USD each way for up to 4 people in a cab. The club itself was awesome, bluest water I've ever seen and got to snorkel with sea turtles in the wild in the palancar reef!

Cozumel was awesome and had so much you could do! We ended up with a bate and switch excursion through Jungle Jeep Adventures, which was supposed to be a Jeep tour to a cavern and snorkeling. They put us in a Jeep with another couple, which was not what we paid for. Why do you ask what type of vehicle you want to drive (auto/manual) if you're not going to be in your own Jeep. They took us to a town to show us around, and had us visit a souvenir shop in that town, then to a tequila "museum" both of which were just a way to get us to spend more money. They then took us to the cavern, and ended up visiting the spot for ten minutes. We then proceeded to the snorkeling, which ended up being a restaurant, where we could spend more money waiting for our "guide." We then got to snorkel for about thirty minutes, which was BS! I suggest staying away from Jungle Jeep Adventures at all cost!

We spent very little time in Cozumel, and instead did an excursion to Chichen Itza, a big bucketlist dream of mine. While it is far away, and we didn't get to spend much time at the ruins, it was still worth going. It took ALL DAY. We had to take a ferry over to the mainland. Then we got on a bus and drove for hours. While on the bus, they provided a little sandwich, chips, cookies, and a tiny bottle of water. Think: Kindergarten lunch. We were starving. Once there you have to walk a little ways to get to the site. Our guide was hard to understand, and I was very glad for all the years I spent watching the history channel because I gave up on the guide and started explaining things to my husband so he could appreciate what he was seeing. We did not have enough time to tour the cenote. Before you get back on the bus, try to buy some snacks because it was a very long trip back to the ship with zero stops and zero food provided. We were starving. Once we made it back to the ship we went to the anytime dining room and ate and ate and ate. It was worth the effort to see one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World. But really folks, eat when you can.

There's really nothing to say about Cozumel except it is paradise. Mexico is a lovely place with friendly people. Always favorite location for us. Be careful renting taxis - they drive like maniacs.

Mr sanchos!!! The best excursion! Book ahead they tend to sell out. Drinks and food included along with chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful day!! Also enjoyed the pool and the swing seats at the bar.

I had fun just walking around the port. I do understand that the people that work at the shops have to try to get you in there, but when they are constantly yelling at you to come in there, it gets annoying. And they try to make you buy everything in the store. I would like to just walk through there and pick items on my own. But again, its Mexico and I know they are trying to make money.
