Review summary

Our cruise was an awesome first experience for me. If I could do it again I would opt for the wifi package because the app only works if you have cellular service. We skipped Costa Maya due to a mechanical issue overnight on the first night of the voyage and the captain took us to Progreso instead which was a much neater experience from what I've been told! Cozumel was wonderful and everyone on board the ship helped make the trip memorable to us. Will definitely be returning to sail again!

Embarkation

Embarkation went smoothly and everything was explained very well. Lines were not long.

Entertainment

The stage shows and late night comedians were incredible!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our stewardess Rosie, must have been sleeping under the bed because it seemed like every time we turned around our bed was completely made up. Allwyn and Alvin were our waiters and they were both incredibly polite, caring, funny, and stopped at nothing to make our dining experience the highlight of the trip, this attitude was shared amongst all the staff we came in contact with throughout our voyage.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin layout allowed much more room than I had originally anticipated. We had no problem unpacking and stowing our suitcases under the bed.

Ship tip

Go to the late night comedy if possible, the comedians censor themselves during the early shows due to children in the audience.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

We went to the Nachi Cocom from the cruise terminal! It was $17 USD each way for up to 4 people in a cab. The club itself was awesome, bluest water I've ever seen and got to snorkel with sea turtles in the wild in the palancar reef!

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Long lines and waiting to get off the ship, longer lines and waiting to make it through customs.
