We went to Mr. Sanchos and once again it never fails we had an awesome time. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was superb by Gabby (Gabriel) make sure to ask for him, he will not disappoint. We had a bit of a hiccup with a Taxi driver trying to charge more than the posted amount after we had reached our destination , but we did not let him take advantage of us.

I went on a horseback ride excursion on the other side of the island. It was so much fun and the ranch we went to was beautiful. The vendors on the beach were a little pushy, but once you walked away they left you alone. The eco lounge we went to after our ride was breathtaking. The port area was huge and very clean.

Twister Boat w/Isla Passion Excursion I have 7 days until my next cruise🤗🤗🤗🤗 and as I'm looking to book excursions, I can't help but to notice that some of the excursions that I'd previously booked through Carnival are no longer available with carnival. However, I am seeing them available to book here on Shipmates. The twister boat excursion is another example. This was an Excursion that I also experienced back in September. The actual Twister boat ride it self was fun. The trust and turns are wicked and I must warn you, if you sit in the very back of the boat it just my throw your back right out of alignment!! Hence the name... Once we arrived to Isla Passion it was very nice. There was plenty to do for everyone. If relaxation is your thing, there is a place on the beach where you can do just that. If you want a more of a turn up, you can find the area to do that as well. The island consisted of vendors, that weren't pushy at all, a buffet style all inclusive lunch, inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (soda, juice, beer, and a couple of other pre mixed drinks) motorized water activities, boat rides, and hammocks. The island was especially nice because groups arrived and departed at staggered times, therefore it was never too crowded at any given time. We were able to complete this excursion and return back to the port with plenty of time left over to frolic around before having to board the ship.

With this being our first cruise we did not really plan very well. Had no idea what we are going to do whenever we get off the ship. After we got off the ship we spent a little time looking around in the local shops, and then we purchased a package from someone in town. The deal was transportation to a private beach, lunch, two complimentary drinks, the use of snorkeling equipment, and then the transportation back to the ship via taxi all for $50. Not going to lie, was very anxious about taking the trip from some random person standing in the market. It all worked out very well, and the lunch was amazing! The taxi driver that gave us our transportation back to the ship was awesome, pointing out different points of interest all along the way completely contrary to our first driver who drove like a bat out of hell to get us there without saying one word. Would love to go back to Cozumel oh, but would definitely do some research and possibly do a mr. Sancho's or something similar.

Ohhhhhhh Cozumel. Lol I typically don’t drink but everywhere we turned there were FREE tequila tastings. I loved the atmosphere there. Everyone was friendly and inviting. My family and I signed up for the San Gervasio Mayan Ruins Tour which included a beach day, lunch, and tequila tasting. However, due to the high tides, we were unable to do our beach portion of the day. Our tour guide German, pronounced Her-man, did a great job at keeping us entertained with our change in plans. Instead of the beach portion, we did more of a city tour and shopping (which is also where all the extra tequila tasting happened). German was able to work something out to where we could all get free drinks at Three Amigos after our tour, too. I highly recommend our excursion. The ruins tour was informative and a beautiful sight to see. I would definitely do the tour again, hopefully with German.

This is one of my favorite ports ever! We did the deluxe catamaran sail and snorkel beach excursion. I loved it all, one thing is maybe not let everyone in the water at the same time or have smaller groups because it was hard swimming because everyone was so close. The crew were super nice and friendly.
