My family loves cruising and have never had a bad experience, but this cruise mat and exceeded all of our expectations, Princess truly went beyond in trying to make sure that we were pampered. I also felt that you received the same level of service from every staff member, not just the ones that are working with you directly day after day, which is not necessarily always the case. My favorite part had to be the medallion experience. From having your room door unlocked as you approached, to being able to track the rest of my group if we ever separated was an amazing bonus. It also made for the smoothest embarkation we have ever experienced. Truly liked that we could use the apps on board for service anywhere. Very technologically advanced. We were even able to track our spending while on board, which sometimes can get out of hand when on a cruise.

The added benefit of doing all our documentation and having our medallions mailed to our home made this the easiest thing ever. Literally 15 minutes from getting off the car to getting on the boat. To top it all off, they told us as we were boarding that our room should be ready, and we were able to drop off our carry on immediately.

The food was delicious at all the venues, and the prices were extremely reasonable. Drinks were to die for, and with the app you could request service from everywhere very easily and conveniently.

Really enjoyed the pool area, since there were so many on board I never felt over crowded. My husband enjoyed the gym, and sports area.
Entertainment

Did several of the shows, excellent entertainment, got to do cooking demonstration, listened to singers, amazing theater show, and great comedy shows. Really great, loved that it was varied so we got to enjoy a little of everything. Also loved they had two run times for them so that we did not feel rushed to make the 1st appearance.

Our team was exceptional. We did the anytime dinning option, which allows you to sit whenever and at whoever dining room you preferred, and the staff was always warm, welcoming and accommodating. My brother has a sesame allergy and not only did they go out of their way to ensure his meals that night were safe, but the restaurant manager, would find us at whichever table we were seated, and ensured he got the next day’s menu, so that he could order his meals ahead of time to ensure they were safe for him to eat. Our room steward realized it was our anniversary and that we met in our room prior to going down to dinner, so she had wine glasses for our entire crew ready so that we could toast before heading down. So attentive.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pleasantly surprise by the cabin size. Loved that we had our own mini fridge in the room. TV size was huge compare to other cruises were on, and the viewing options top notch for the down times we had in the room. Also loved the huge window in every cabin, really helped to make the room feel less closed off. Had plenty of space in the closet for all 3 of us, and hangers galore, which is usually and issue for me.
Ship tip
You must download the ocean ready app, and order your medallions ahead of time, it made the onboarding process, feel like a walk in the park. Also go during the boarding time specified for your floor. If you do, most than likely the room will be ready for you, and you won't have to carry anything around. If you are a water drinker, tape a room tag to your water package and they will drop it off for you in the room with the rest of your luggage.
Did not get to venture out into the city for safety reasons, but the port area is very well kept, and we did a private island tour that was really relaxing.
Again really simple, we went to one of the restaurants to have breakfast, and by the time we were done, they called us to our waiting area, which was another of the restaurants, so plenty of seats while you wait, and they had us disembarking within 10 minutes of the previously given time, the luggage was separated by color band, and we were able to go through security again in matter of 20 minutes or so.
Awesome review! Very well written with ALOT of information! I love to read those versus the ones that just simply stay they had a good or bad experience, but they don't state why or how. Would love to get more information about Fort Lauderdale as we are "thinking" about flying from Texas to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise. Thanks again!
