We try to get to Cozumel at least once a year on a cruise. It’s one of our favorite cruise ports. We spend the day at Paradise Beach or Mr. Sancho’s, and finish the day at Pancho’s Backyard with a quick margarita and some chips and salsa before heading back to the ship. Next cruise to Coz in October for a big family celebration with the kids for their honeymoon.

Cozumel was one of the reasons we booked this cruise. We love it there. Booked downtown Cozumel and Beach through RC. Billy the driver and Dante, the tour guide took us to part of downtown to shop and we did a tequila tasting on our own(yummy). We then headed to beach stop at Puenta Morena. The site was a little run down but it did not take away from the beauty of the turquoise-colored water, white sandy beach, and the breeze. Didn't like all the peddling; it was continuous and interfered with relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, but we did 😎.

We went to Fat Tuesdays at the port and had a drink plus used the free wifi for a bit. We didnt book an excursion because nothing seemed to catch our attention honestly but we did find taxi tours in the port for $100 for the day. Our driver was very knowledgeable and nice! He basically took us around the whole island and showed us where locals hang out and eat. We stopped in a few places which was nice and had a bite to eat but there truely wasnt anything going on (to us anyway) On our way back we did do alittle shopping in the port but nothing fantastic. We still had a great time though!

I loved it! I rented a car from a scooter rental and drove to paradise beach. I had a drink , had some lunch, played in the water and pool then headed back to the port area to shop. Talked with locals and had an amazing day! Watched the sunset and headed back on board when it began to storm! I did not want to leave !
