Review summary

We were first time cruisers, but because of research and using the shipmate app, we will be going on another cruise soon. We did like the extra perks Norwegian offers with a balcony room and will be sailing with them again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Getting to the check in desk went flawlessly, but after entering the ship there was quite a bit of frustration and confusion when we couldn't enter our staterooms. We were able to leave our carry-on luggage there though. That made it better.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We primarily used the buffet. They had kid choices that worked very well for our daughter. We did have dinner at the main dinning room one and very much enjoyed it.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We sat by the pool, swam a little, sang Karaoke and loved out relaxation time on the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
only entertainment we participated in was karaoke, the pool side entertainment was very good though.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Our 7yr old daughter LOVED splash academy. we were more than a little disappointing when told we wouldn't be able to watch their program they had been training for all week though. that is why I am giving it a 4 instead of 5 star rating.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. the pool side lounge staff was fantastic and Andre our room attendant was FANTASTIC!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
our cabin was just the right size for 2 adults and one mid size child.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

we only embarked and disembarked from this port

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
loved it . beautiful beach and plenty of chairs when we arrived. we were on the first tender though.

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
stores were pushy, and it rubbed me the wrong way. I was also told one price for a dress that became more expensive when I mentioned it again.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
did the all inclusive dolphin encounter and we enjoyed every part of it.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
very easy and speedy process. I just was a little confused about what time we had to leave when taking our luggage with us.
