What a great way to spend the day, shopping at the stores in port. We ventured out to Nachi Cocom for a nice day at the beach. Excellent views, clean beaches, nice pool, and good cocktails made to order.

Dolphin swim and ride was amazing. This was the best of the 2 ports to do shopping. Never pay full price for anything!!

This is my second time to visit Cozumel. The first time I went to a paid beach. It was nice and I enjoyed it, but I don’t think you should have to pay to go to a beach. This time I did the Dune Buggy snorkel and beach excursion. I had so so much fun! Our guides were fantastic! The route that we travelled was great. The first stop had good snorkeling and the guide showed us some great sea life. The second guide surrounded us and made sure that we were all safe and didn’t need assistance. There was a great little shop where I got a cute little beach bag. The lickers here were $5 deposit and a $5 charge. There is no reason for the deposit because there is no way you can steal the lockers. At least you get the deposit back. The route that we took to the Caribbean side of the island was really nice. The weather was perfect. And the Caribbean Sea was stunning. I really wanted to snorkel in the Caribbean, but the wind was really bad and the undercurrent was too dangerous. We could only go knew deep in the ocean. We had lunch there. The food and service was decent for the price. And there was a little shop where you could purchase souvenirs if you wanted to. Then we proceeded through the middle of the island. We got to see a lot of the local land which was nice. I would have liked to stop to tour some of the island instead of just driving through. The other thing was that when we were first leaving in our dune buggy, someone took a picture but we were never then the opportunity to purchase that picture. I thought I could get it on the ship, but I was told that because it was in the town that it was not Royal Caribbean who took the picture. When I went to the shore excursion desk to find out how to purchase the photo they had no clue what I was talking about or how I could purchase the photo. They said they would contact the company to find out but they never did. :(

Very nice port! My husband and I, took the "La Casa en la paya, a Select Retreat" excursion offered by Carnival! It was fabulous!! Very nice beach house, fresh yummy drinks, guacamole dip was tasty and the Lunch cooked my our very own chef was unbelievable and delicoius!! The beach beds and lounges were plenty and we only had about 19 in our group, about 2hrs or more later they brought another group of 12 which made it VERY nice and less crowded place than any of the other excursions we looked at!! Wish I took more pictures lol but we were so relaxed it was hard to remember to do it!!

Very rushed it was a nightmare and hazard just trying to get off the cruise ship. Carnival is very disorganized. We booked a 6 hour beach excursion that was supposed to include open bar and lunch. Well after waiting around for other people for 45 to get off the boat in carnivals disembarkment mess, we got into to taxis buses for about a 15 minute ride to a beach park that had nice clear blue warm water it was so nice. Then came the logistics of the excursion. Lunch was a buffet food wasnt good they were out of hamburger buns and after several times of asking employees for some buns we gave up. The waiter in the very packed little restaurant came over to get drinks and before he would take our order very rudely told us he works for tips. We ordered drinks he forgot to bring our soda and he again rudely said chill out im getting it. Then another person at our table ordered a rum punch which he never brought over but it was such a packed mess in there we choose to leave rather than get our already paid for open bar drinks. Then at this time it was time to pack up because we were told we only had two hours of beach time. So we pack up, put a member of our group into her regular wheelchair instead of the sand wheelchair and head up to meet our tour guide, who shows up about 15 minutes later and tells us he told us the wrong time to meet and we still had another 45 minutes if we wanted to go back to the beach. Which would be a waste after packing everyone up and dragging it all back to the meeting area. So we wait another 45 mins and get taxied back to the shopping area for 1.5 hours. So in total of our 6 hr beach excursion we got 2 hours to go to the beach and have lunch in an over crowded restaurant and then rushed back to shop. So beware buyers the 6 hr beach day is a lie.

We did the Carnival bar hop tour We went to the East side of the island. Very informative tour on the way to each bar. At each bar we recieved a free shot and enjoyed drinks and the serenity of being on the primitive no electric side of the island. I would definitely recommend this tour I will be doing it again in December

We had a great time at this port. We didn't schedule any excursions though. We spent a good deal of time in some neat little shops. We had a group of 4 and decided to do some snorkeling. We stopped at an excursion desk asked for a good deal and we got it. One of the reps walked us down the main street for a few blocks to get to their boat. At first it was kinda shady. We gave a guy $160 to take the 4 of us snorkeling for a few hours. Then he passes us off to some younger guy that walks us down the road for about 10blocks to get to a hotel that we walked through to get to the pier where their little boat was. Here we were greeted by two other gentleman waiting in the boat. Now we're out in the open water for a boat ride. What seemed shady at first turned out to be a great time. They drove us to three locations and in between the locations I think the 4 of us and the guides polished of two bottles of tequila and a 12 pack of Mexico's cheapest beer lol. We snorkeled for a good 45min at each location. The guide feed/ baited fish and we were surrounded by beautiful fish in minutes and for the duration of the time. The guide also took my gopro and swam deeper than I could to get some great footage of bottom feeding fishes and eels. We defiantly got out monies worth with these guys. We tipped them well since it's was a pretty affordable snorkel and we drank about everything in their cooler. Not sure how professional or safe it was that the driver was putting down shots with us, but hey, we were in Mexico lol.
