First time to ever cruise. Went snorkeling and had a wonderful time.

Good shopping but way too commercial and tourist oriented. Nice beaches. Take a taxi when you get off the ship because the fares are low and they take you to free beaches right next to the ones you pay for if you buy a tour. A taxi tour of the island for 5 hours was $30 per person from any cab driver.

Great shopping , loved the food. Can’t wait until March to see Cozumel again. I’m hoping to see more on the native island. Talk to the native people and practice my Spanish .

Very busy port. Sometimes 3 Carnival ships at dock at same time. 2 more berths nearby for others. I believe there were 2 RCL ships there. Plus Norwegian Escape docked at downtown pier. 2nd time in Cozumel and didn't do an excursion. We walked about an hour from Puerto Maya into town. Beautiful scenery along ocean front sidewalk. Stopped at The Thirsty Cougar for lunch and drinks. Better margaritas than on Glory (but not included). Had an order each of nachos, tacos, big-ass burrito (size of my forearm) and jalapeno poppers. Drinks for 4 plus an extra beer. Total bill $87usd or about 1300 pesos. When it came time to pay, I was given the option to pay in either. Glad I did bc when compared to cdn$ I came out ahead. You Canucks keep that in mind in Mex. Btw, cab ride would have been about $8usd one way.

Snorkeling is a must in Cozumel, there are so many beautiful reefs and tropical fish.

Looked like a lot of fun, but I was only there briefly. Took advantage of a quiet ship while everyone else was at port.

We spent the afternoon at Chankanaab National Park after doing a bit of shopping at the port - a good place to beach it, see some Mayan ruins, a lagoon, tropical gardens and if you want, to swim with dolphins.
