The Mayan Ruins is a must and then what ever strikes your fancy. We have been several times and like to just explore on our own.

Went to Rio Secreto, underground river excursion. Lasts all day, so dont think you can shop Cozumel! But you do get some time in Playa Del Carmen. Not a lot... travel takes up much of the day.

We rode a catamaran boat, snorkeled, and went to a private beach with inflatables.

Port shopping was very clean, convenient and friendly. Not a lot of pushing to buy by the locals.

Way too crowded with 6 ships there. Didn't stay ashore long.

Snorkeling was cancelled and didn't book another excursion. Tried to get some snorkeling in at another resort but weather wasn't favorable. Mostly stayed on boat
