It was a long walk to get to the cab area. Talked to the cab director about a beach area not overly crowded. But the one he sent us to was way over crowded and not any beach area. The chairs were so close together that you could hardly move and they were lined up right up to the water. The water was full of blow up activities in the water and it took away the beauty of the beach. Made a bad choice on where to go.

Taxied downtown, did some tequila testing and shopping. Then back to port for Fat Tuesday’s before heading back to the ship. That pier never gets any shorter. We did use the little bike guys to give us a lift each way. Definitely worth it.

Great tour package. Do the shopping in town instead of the shops near the port.

We went on a Bar Hop Tour. It turned out to be a private tour, just the driver and us. Shots, beer, swimming and lunch. Not a Celebrity excursion but I highly recommend. We then walked around Cozumel to shop and then back to the ship. Loved Cozumel.

We were in port longer in Cozumel. Our excursion was a catamaran to Passion Island with lunch and drinks. The lunch here was the best food I had on the entire trip! Drinks were very good. I highly recommend this if you want to kick back and relax a little. Timing was perfect for relaxing in the water hammocks, lunch, drinks, snorkel, shop and go back to main island. We got back in plenty of time to explore the shops, etc.

We went on the Atlantis Submarine excursion, which was okay. All we saw was a few small fish and the shipwreck. (If anyone has been on the old Disney World ride "20,000 leagues under the sea" you would have seen just as much. After the excursion we went into downtown Cozumel for some shopping and found the people to be every friendly; and most spoke English.
