We only visited the shops at the end of the pier. We didn't have time to do that last year. Fairly pushy sales people at many of the jewelry shops. Many shops we've seen at other ports. Plenty of opportunity to get last minute souvenirs if you didn't get them in town.

Did the Jeep/snorkel/Mayan ruin/tequila tasting tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun - we really enjoyed it! The Jeep we drove was a little on the sketchy side but hey it was an adventure in itself!

WHERE IS THE BEACH? We had to catch a $20 taxi to get to the beach 15 miles away. We get there and its $20 a piece just for beach access and chairs. $65 a piece for all inclusive, watered down drinks and food wasn't great. There should be more to do directly off of the ship, like Turks and Caicos.
