Booked a private Jeep tour with Cozumelcruiseexcursions.net It was ok. Our tour guide was fine. Just a little quiet and didn’t provide much in the way of history or culture on the island. We were a party of 6 and they only gave us one guide. My husband had to drive the second Jeep. We did the typical touristy things. Tequila tour, Punta Sur, snorkeling. We skipped the included lunch on the beach because it was so crowded and service was slow. I forgot to pack towels so we just felt uncomfortable/wet after snorkeling. Did a little shopping on the way back to the port and didn’t feel like we were being harassed at all. I was nervous after reading so many reviews of pushy store owners. In hindsight, I wish we had just gotten off the ship and did some shopping at our own leisure. Warning for anyone with back problems. The ride to Punta Sur is extremely bumpy and long. And don’t forget towels!

The port shops were ok but DON’T DRINK EAT THE ICE. the ice may be unfiltered and I got sick for the next few days after going to that port. But if you don’t get sick they have large beaches and lots of water activity’s

Overcrowded resorts, rocky beach water, and very dirty but I heard the other area of Cozumel the beaches are beautiful, clear, and clean!

We chose to do a "resort for the day." We enjoyed the beach, the drinks served there, the lunch buffet, and the shops. We also went out on the catamaran, which was a lot of fun.

We hired a taxi and did our own excursion of the island. It was amazing and my favorite of the trip.
