Beautiful! Love the colorful buildings. Took the trolley tour and learned the history of Curacao. Trolley was so much fun. We stopped at a lovely Catholic church to take pictures. Shopped around in town. Got to see the swing bridge in action and a ferry cross. Came back out in the evening to shop and walk around the port and see the beautiful Horizon all lit up. I would love to come back here.

This description shall serve for all 3 ports: the tacky display of tourist crap was only made a bit more acceptable next to a person's walking 5 minutes beyond our mooring to see the dirty & desperate situations in which the local inhabitants live. Of the 3, Kralendijk had the sole condition of being part of a small, sparsely inhabited, and having relatively few tourists.

So colorful and beautiful! We walked to town via the floating bridge. The bridge opened while we were in town, so they offered a free ferry ride to the other side for people who didn’t want to wait for the bridge to close.
