This island is very lush. The overall scenery and landscape will remind you of hawaii. Thats where the similarities end however as this island is very poor and it shows in many areas.

The excursion that we bought is supposed to take us to river water tubing and the water fall. However we came back with no clue on where is the water fall.

We went on a tour of the island and the rainforest and the Emeral falls and pool. Many people for into the pool and they said the water was great!

Beautiful island - no tours just shopped. The poverty was there but the people were very kind and friendly.

Just shopped at the straw market by the ship but touched by the sweet people of that island. With all they have been through, their faith and goodness was evident. Appreciated that they were not pushy when trying to sell their items. If you said no, they just said ok, thank you, have a good day. Refreshing!
