A small, mountainous island that was such an eyeopener to a totally different culture. Very lush. We took a tour of Trafalgar Falls and Emerald Pool and our guide was fabulous. She knew the answer to everything we asked and she made it very interesting (who wants to actually learn anything on vacation, right?

Dominica is a very poor island, but the people there are wondeful! They are more than thrilled to show you around their island paradise and tell you about its history. Dominica is home to beautiful waterfalls amd towering mountains.

Don't do the aerial tram. Too expensive for what you see and the tour.

I would not get off the ship again. Very depressed area and people. We were accosted as soon as we got off the ship... nothing worth seeing ... I threatened to go back to the ship if the vendors did not leave us alone..

A pretty island, but with relatively poor infrasctructure. Long drives to see attractions.

Not much to do on this island. Found a driver (Paula) on our own, and paid $25/pp to be driven around the island, rain forest, to the Emerald Pool, etc. Was worth the $.

Small and poor island but the people are so warm you will forget about everything! No a lot of shopping and the streets are as narrow as a one way street in the US!
