Review summary

We recently sailed on the Carnival Destiny and it was the best vacation we have ever had. The ship was beautiful, HUGE and the staff was very friendly and attentive. My fiance was beside himself, he had such a great time nightly at the Point After Disco on board. There was so much entertainment at nights AND during the day. No wonder they call them the 'Fun Ships'.

Roseau, Dominica

A small, mountainous island that was such an eyeopener to a totally different culture. Very lush. We took a tour of Trafalgar Falls and Emerald Pool and our guide was fabulous. She knew the answer to everything we asked and she made it very interesting (who wants to actually learn anything on vacation, right?
Don't Miss: Emerald Pool and Trafalgar Falls

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
If you go to St.Thomas you MUST go to Magen's Bay beach. It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. St. Thomas is a photographer's dream, it is so pretty to look at. From various vantage points you can see the ocean as well as some of the other Virgin Islands...Beautiful!
Don't Miss: Magen's Bay Beach

Bridgetown, Barbados

We walked to downtown Bridgetown from the dock and it reminded us of Jamaica. Then we went on a mini buggy tour and our guide, Tammy, was 'off the hook'. She had a stash of rum punch for all the guests...cool
Don't Miss: Mini buggy tour

Oranjestad, Aruba

When we got to Aruba, we rented a Jeep and drove from one end of the island to the next. We saw the lighthouse and they had huge rock formations and cactus, which I didn't expect. We loved that we had control over where we were going. It's better to rent a Jeep at the dock than to book one from the ship. It's a whole lot cheaper and you have use of the car for the whole day. Then we went on the Kukoo Kunuku party bus. If you go to Aruba this is THE one activity you can't miss.
Don't Miss: Kukoo Kunuku

Pros: There was always something to do
