great dock, they are building new buildings that are going to make it even better, easy transportation hub to get anywhere you want. Walking to downtown Phillipsburg if you want.

We toured the whole island. The Dutch side is very accommodating, the French side not so much (very impatient/dangerous drivers) We arrived on the 1yr Anniversary of the hurricane and the Dutch have worked very hard to get back to life “as usual, the French side not so much!

St. Maarten is beautiful, and they are really working to recover from the 2017 hurricane season. We did the Amazing Race St Maarten excursion, and it was so much fun. I would have enjoyed it more if we could have had smaller teams, since three of us were racing and we were added to another group that a couple of people had some mobility issues.

The beach and shopping area were very clean and fun. We went to the rhum factory tour and tried 8 different flavors. Crazy Dave is funny and likes to share. Now the sad part. I can not believe the devastation the hurricane left behind. People lost everything and still work very hard to make us feel special. I want to go back and see the beauty of the island when they rebuild.
