Maho beach where the airplanes flew over was a lot of fun. The water was perfect too.

We took a bicycle tour which we enjoyed, mainly due to the personable tour guides. It only covered 5 miles and not much territory, but we learned quite a bit.

Boring island. Not impressed at Phillipsburg. Boat should not have been there all day. Several hours would have been sufficient. I did not feel safe on this island with my family.

Since we were there last. Some things are a bit different. But we recommend Orient beach. Its beautiful. If you have small kids just know there are some people that do NOT wear clothes or wear vey little on the beach.

The jeep convoy was a fine activity as were the stops we made traveling around the island. The island has a long was to go to recover from last year's hurricane.

We took a water taxi to a beach just around the port from where the cruise ship docked. We rented jet skiis and everyone has a blast! The only annoying thing on this beach is the locals try to sell their wares and they stand in front of you on multiple occasions even though you tell them you are not interested.
