Review summary

The ship is beautiful and we are loyal to Royal Caribbean. But the worlds smartest ship gets a D for being the worlds dumbest ship. They are working on it but none of the computers are linked. So its the left hand doesn't knw what the right hand is doing. All in all the trip in itself was AMAZING!!! Had a great time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The specialty restaurant were defiantly worth the extra money paid. If you wait to purchase on the ship you get a better deal.

Onboard Activities

Not a ton of things to do. But found stuff we liked.

Cabin / Stateroom

EXCELLENT!!

Ship tip

Make sure you reserve your shows and restaurant before you get on the ship. The earlier the better. Also if you want the internet access do it before your trip. You save more if you order before you go.

Since we were there last. Some things are a bit different. But we recommend Orient beach. Its beautiful. If you have small kids just know there are some people that do NOT wear clothes or wear vey little on the beach.

St. John's, Antigua

You want to do the horse back ridding threw the Royal excursion. Surfire, is the name of the man who run it on the Island. He horses are wonderful!

Bridgetown, Barbados

The Boathouse Beach. Absolutely beautiful But... if you just want to swim in the water tell them at the desk before you go in. Otherwise they will charge you $20 per person for two chairs and some other things. It is worth the money we thought.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

Nice but not a lot to do.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

If you like to go kayaking and snorkeling. Book the excursion on Royal. It was so much fun!

It sounds like you enjoyed your cruise for the most part.  We also ran into a similar problem on our Koningsdam cruise.  Little mistakes kept happening.

ashleebrown , No its not within walking distance. But you can get a cab ride with a bunch of people for $7 per person.

Could the computers be the cause of the Anthem's past problems?

We are cruising to St. Maarten next month with Carnival. Is Orient beach within walking distance? It will be our first time there.

We went horseback riding in St. Maarten!  It was absolutely awesome.  My first time on a horse at age 61.  :)
