Beautiful again. Wished I had gone to Orient Beach but stayed uptown in St. Marteen, did some shopping at the Market, rented some beach chairs and swam most of the day. There is a water taxi ride to downtown St. Marteen or uptown St. Marteen. It only 2 minutes away - from each other, so do not be fooled.

This was our favorite port this cruise! The island was beautiful, the people were kind and friendly, and the deals were awesome! Us 3 women went shopping in Philipsburg while hubby took our daughter to the beach to play. We all had a fabulous time, and I already have most of my Christmas shopping done, thanks to the great deals I found!

Great shopping! Walking around the Dutch side shopping is preferred. Hiring a local cab saved our family of six over $100 over the shore excursion price offered on-board. Our driver took us around the entire island, stopped for us to shop and directed us to a wonderful lunch before returning us to our ship. He drove six of us in an air-conditioned mini van for 3 hrs. and charged us only $120! And we got to hear local info. and history from a local person as well as do and see exactly what we wanted without any other person's schedule.

We rented a car which was a huge help in exploring the island's multiple facets. But there is a good beach within walking distance of the port.

Shopping was great. Bought a lovely blue diamond ring. Had a wonderful excursion on the horseback ride and swim in the sea. It was a memory that will last forever.

Same as always we have went here many times. Much cleaner the shops at the port are very clean here

the board walk is a nice place to relax and have a cold one,they are in the mist of a major reconstruction project at the port ,it's going to be very nice when completed, the beach is very pretty
