A fantastic cruise

Sail Date: May 20, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship again is not the newest on the block but it was kept clean and tidy. As you walk in the Triump you see the grand entrance and the glass elevators.

Pros: Mostly everything

Cons: The ship is a bit older, needs some upgrading. Whirlpools not hot enough.

Beautiful again. Wished I had gone to Orient Beach but stayed uptown in St. Marteen, did some shopping at the Market, rented some beach chairs and swam most of the day. There is a water taxi ride to downtown St. Marteen or uptown St. Marteen. It only 2 minutes away - from each other, so do not be fooled.

The best island out there. Booked tour with Godfrey's Island Tour - independent from the ship. Wow, I am glad that I did. Go to www.godfreytoursvi.com for his website. The tour included a shopping stop, city tour - up to the mountain tops of St. Thomas and back down to the beach. Stopped at Coki Beach as Meagan Beach there is a fee. Recommend Coki what a beautiful beach, clear waters, you can see the fish swimming. We feel in love with St. Thomas, will recommend it to anyone. Go to the Market for inexpensive gifts. "A MUST TOUR" The tour was $25 per person and if you have a small child he might worked it out where he won't charge you or only charge you half. Godfrey is awesome.

Complete waste of time. Did the Morro and City Shopping Tour, do not waste your money. Truly expected more for Puerto Rico. Not impressed at all. Do not do any shopping in Puerto Rico as everything is super expensive.
