Snorkeling Excursion no where close to the one in St Thomas. If you did the Turtle Bay in St Thomas do not do the one in St Maarten (no comparison).

Way too crowded, there were 6 cruise ships in port when we were there.

This is a great place to shop, go to the beach, explore.... we took a ferry over to Pinel island to snorkel.

Easy access to the beach, nice boardwalk. Felt safe walking around with the exception of the bathrooms that were often down long secluded alleys. Did not do an excursion. Have no desire to go back.

You have to take the water taxi to the shopping area, It was only a 3 minute ride and you can go back and forth as many times you want for only $7.00. The beaches in St. Maarten were the best out of them all.
