Took a Jeep tour along the North coast and saw a lot of the island. Lots of varied terrain (from desert-like interior to beautiful beaches).

if you walk a few short blocks you can catch public transportation. it's only $10 for the day and you can go wherever you want.. there are several beaches to choose from and we settled on Palm Beach. it was absolutely beautiful as I'm sure the other beaches were too. once at Palm Beach for $35 per person we got on a glass bottom boat and went snorkeling drinks were included. best deal of the trip. the shopping here is also great. lots of places to choose from and decent prices. can't wait to go back here!

Took a cab to Eagle beach then did some local shopping. Extremely hot, got very sunburnt

We called on a Sunday, so the island was pretty quiet. Well laid-out port area, with the typical port shopping establishments. Beautiful island; I'd love to spend some beach time here. (Copied from my Ship Mate port review.)

Very commercialized, yet very beautiful. We did a beach break and enjoyed the water and the white sand.

Aruba what we saw was just ok, would not go back, but we only saw between our ship and the Excursion area and the main area - rather run down and did not seem to be much after the main street area.

Did a "Natural Highlights of Aruba" tour. Great tour guide. Learned a lot about the island as well as seeing some very scenic places. Butterfly farm, lighthouse, natural bridge, rock formation.
