Must shop for Pearls here, prices were very cheap. The beaches are a short ride from the port, you can get cabs for 20 each way, however the shopping area is a bit far from the pier.

Very third world, lot's of trash around, depressing.. but there is a nice beach there on which to spend a day. It was the least of all the stops.

Lovely beach right outside the ship - what a relaxing day. Shopping is also right at the port, and the people were lovely!

The beach area smelled, I didn't feel safe to travel too far from the ship.

Great market right outside the ship. Be prepared to buy pearls and other souvenirs (very affordable).

There really isn't much to see in the island. the two hour drive around town was a waste of time and money.

Watch out for poisonous spiders by beach! Biggest things you'll ever see! I don't know why cruise ships even stop here. Nearest town is almost an hour away in a taxi. Decent beach by the ship, but who wants to swim next to a port? How clean do you think the water is?

Great shopping for tourist stuff-hats & t-shirts. Beautiful beach right next to dock.
