Watch out for poisonous spiders by beach! Biggest things you'll ever see! I don't know why cruise ships even stop here. Nearest town is almost an hour away in a taxi. Decent beach by the ship, but who wants to swim next to a port? How clean do you think the water is?

Nice downtown shopping. Great beaches. Good local food.

Watch out for "30 minute boatride" to Pitons which actually takes 90 minutes. How many people can you cram onto a boat? Not comfortable. Pitons beautiful, volcano and waterfall good, but very, very poor areas. The only place on our whole trip where we felt uncomfortable.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Beaches! Forget "duty-free shopping!" That's the most overrated thing ever! Learn how to use "yahoo shopping" or go to Costco.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Best stop. Don't miss Brandon Beach. Very good food and beer.

Pros: service

Cons: small cabins
