Don't do the shopping in Margarita tour. You just go to a modern shopping center like you would find in any big city. Too far from the port.

Felt a lot like mexico. Very poor country but excursion was a great tour of Island with a stop at the beach. Not as informative as would have liked.

The ship's port was an 45-60min away from the city center. There was a small beach right next to the port but very dirty and you had to pay to use the beach chairs.

We have been here three times and have never managed to have a satisfactory tour. The jewellery sellers on the dock sell haandmade silver jewellery at an excel;lent price.
