"Sunny" cruise on Sun Princess

Sail Date: February 08, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

It's getting a little old - elevators are slow - however it's adequate.

Pros: Food, ports

Cons: Problem getting early dining, too many ports in a row

Recommends Sun Princess? No.

Dominica
Fantastic waterfalls and mountains in rain forest area.
Don't Miss: Downtown shopping - waterfalls
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Quite a large little cay, with lots of sun, swimming and food.
Don't Miss: Watching the snorkerlers.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
As usual we visited the great beaches
Don't Miss: Famous beaches
Willemstad, Curacao
We had a guide with van on shore that was great with the history of this island. Saw much poverty, trash on sides of roads, but Chavez is helping clean up.
Don't Miss: beautiful landscapes
Bridgetown, Barbados
Visited forts and had some really cute native kids telling us all about the island in their own language (which we didn't understand) However they of course wanted our "tourist" money!
Don't Miss: Old, old and very interesting Anglican church and cemetery.

Guamache, Isla Margarita, Venezuela
Saw many beautiful churches and shrines - mostly a Catholic island
Don't Miss: All the little shrines by the roadsides
