Review summary

Last month we spent our Spring brake on Golden Princess, my husband, me and our 2 children (10 and 13). We traveled with 6 more families. This was our second cruise. Year before we were on Royal Caribbean and were expecting to be little dissapointed, since this ship was cheaper, but we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The ship was as beautiful as RC Adventure of the Sea. We had Mini Suite that cost as much as balcony room on RC and was so much more comfortable. Big room, nicely decorated, VERY comfortable bed and pillows, nice size bathroom with a lot of shelf space for all the toiletries. Our room attendant was incredible, it seemed that every time we left the room he was there to make it neat and clean. I loved the fruit bowl that was waiting for us every day in our room. The best part was food. I loved it and everybody in our group agreed that it was better than RC. Even thought the ship didn't have Promenade that Adventure has, the center hall with all the shops was beautiful with so much nicer shops and lots of them. There are plenty of things to do on the ship, our kids (ages between 10-18) had so much fun, at the pool, dancing, at the shows,eating... We all enjoyed the shows, dancing and all other activities (and there were many). We will be going on the Princess again. The only thing I was dissapointed about was Casino. All the slot machines had very small odds of winning comparing to the other casinos.

Ports of call

Margarita (Isla De Margarita), Venezuela

Great market right outside the ship. Be prepared to buy pearls and other souvenirs (very affordable).
Don't Miss: Shopping

St. George's, Grenada

Their Custom Officers made us wait in line for almost an hour in the heat. No other port ever did this.
